We are pleased to invite you to the Research Day at LUCA School of Arts, taking place on Tuesday, 16 September from 10:00 to 17:00 on Campus Ghent / Sint-Lucas.

This day marks the start of the new academic year for research and is open to researchers from all LUCA campuses. It offers an opportunity to connect with colleagues from Ghent to Genk, learn about the latest research developments at LUCA and KU Leuven, attend practical information sessions, and discover new research projects based in Ghent.

Ahead of the new academic year, we will also elect a new representative of the PhD researchers to the doctoral committee, following into the footsteps of Alina Cristea. We warmly encourage all interested PhD candidates to put themselves forward.

The programme includes dedicated sessions for PhD researchers, postdocs, and senior researchers. A separate session will be held for PhD students during which the new representative will be elected. For postdocs and senior researchers, a roundtable discussion will be organised—topic to be announced.
